Maryland Public Art Initiative – Public Art Commission Collection

Public Art InitiativeThe Maryland Public Art Initiative acts as the state's percent-for-art program. On eligible capital projects with budgets paid for 50% or more through state capital construction funding, .5% of the construction budget is set aside for the inclusion of public artwork. The program is administered by the Maryland State Arts Council an agency within the Department of Commerce, and overseen by the Maryland Commission on Public Art: https://msac.org/about/mpac-commissioners
